Kyle Fowler is a second-generation airshow performer from Alberta, Canada, known for pushing the limits in the unique Rutan Long-EZ, a homebuilt aircraft not originally designed for aerobatics. Now in his 10th year performing at airshows, Kyle has built a reputation for an exciting and unconventional flying style after leaving his career as an auto mechanic to pursue aviation full-time.

From his daytime routines to stunning nighttime performances featuring smoke, lights, and pyrotechnics, Kyle delivers a show that keeps audiences engaged. His passion for aviation has taken him to some of North America’s biggest events, including the Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo and EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.

Airshow Performance Overview

Kyle Fowler Aerosports delivers a unique airshow experience in a homebuilt Rutan Long EZ, the only aircraft of its kind performing in airshows worldwide. The day show features aerobatics, real-time cockpit commentary, and showcases the aircraft’s distinct design. The night show follows a spaceship in trouble, brought to life with music, smoke, pyrotechnics, and audience interaction. Both routines are popular with all ages, especially families and kids. Night Airshow Performance

Kyle’s night show tells the story of an alien spaceship falling to Earth that needs the crowd’s energy to keep flying. Music, smoke, light aerobatics, and pyrotechnics bring the journey to life as Kyle interacts with the audience to “fix” the ship. A family favorite, this imaginative show blends storytelling with strong wow factor. We load 250 roman candles, 60 gerbs, and a few aerials, and can adapt timing and effects to fit your show.

Day Airshow Performance

The day show is a high-energy, crowd-engaging, family favorite that leaves a lasting impression. Flying the distinct Long EZ, Kyle performs smooth rolls, half-cubans, and maneuvers that showcase the aircraft’s unique design. When conditions allow, the routine ends with a smoke spin on the runway, a fan favorite for aviation enthusiasts and first-time visitors. This performance connects with all ages, but especially with kids.
